'Illuminate' was an Interactive Installation created with Caroline Falconer for RE-FRAME - a design exhibition at the Ivan Dougherty Gallery from 20 July - 26 August 2006 as part of Sydney Design Festival 06.

'Illuminate' uses a camera, software and digital projection to create an abstract mirror on the wall of a darkened room. Within the room, a viewer or group see an image of themselves and their movement as trails of light that shimmer and dissipate over time.

The piece is an exploration of experience as part of the designed environment. Being alone in the space evokes a sense of reflection, while being in a group encourages a more playful and performative interaction and experience.
